This album is meant to be an antithesis to his surroundings; a small town with almost no music scene, a singular venue ran by old hippies – filled with open mic’s featuring dusty acoustic covers of 50+ year old songs.
With him already being a standout in the slowly growing young scene of artists through his band “Catharsis”, Tristan Renaud knew his solo debut needed to be bold.
With this context and muse in mind, he started working on what would be 100% Voltage With an album made entirely of electronic instruments and electronically processed vocals, he symbolizes not only the change taking place in his city, but the change young people are having around the world.
